The LD Systems ICOA 15 A BT is a terrific all-around powered PA speaker that can tackle full-range, satellite, and stage monitor duties with equal aplomb. Armed with a 1,200-watt Class D power amp, the ICOA 15 A BT churns out a 128dB maximum SPL. Its 15-inch woofer and 1-inch coaxial tweeter yield a 48Hz–20kHz frequency response, and its patent-pending, BEM-optimized CD horn offers flexible use in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The ICOA 15 A BT's baked-in DynX DSP ensures distortion-free sound, even with the volume cranked, and you get four application presets, a 3-band EQ, and a delay line function. This outstanding loudspeaker also houses two mic/line input channels with individual gain controls, along with a mono mix output and Bluetooth connectivity, which allows you to stream audio wirelessly from your smart device. Flexible design

The ICOA 15 A BT brandishes a super-flexible design, projecting enough room-shaking bass from its horn-loaded woofer to satisfy the needs of musicians, bands, and DJs alike — no subwoofer required. That said, the ICOA 15 A BT performs admirably in satellite applications when you combine it with a sub. Furthermore, you can also orient the ICOA 15 A BT horizontally as part of a suspended system or on the floor as a stage monitor.

Thanks to the LD Systems ICOA 15 A BT's proprietary DynX DSP, you can expect dynamic, high-resolution sound across the entire frequency spectrum, along with distortion-free performance — even at maximum volume. The ICOA 15 A BT also includes four intuitive sound presets and a 3-band EQ for fast, user-friendly sound adjustment. When we ran the ICOA 15 A BT through its paces, we were especially impressed with its delay line function, which compensates for distances up to 32 feet.

Deploying the ICOA 15 A BT is an intuitive affair, thanks to its flexible, roadworthy design. You get two line/mic input channels with individual gain controls, along with a mono mix output, enabling you to connect a variety of signal sources. The ICOA 15 A BT's shock-resistant front grille and 55-degree horizontal angle optimize it for stage monitor applications. Moreover, when you position the loudspeaker vertically, its 36mm dual-tilt stand attachment gives you the choice of a 0- or 5-degree tilt angle to optimize its performance in any acoustic environment. You also get six M10 fly points and four aluminum handles for simplified installation and transport.
