Takamine EF360SC-TT Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Natural
Incredible Acoustic-electric Dreadnought from Takamine
From the master designers at Takamine comes the EF360SC TT — a beautiful traditional dreadnought with a cutaway that delivers incredible tone and feel. The EF360SC TT features a solid Indian rosewood body with a thermally treated solid spruce top for stunning, full tone that sounds great unplugged or amplified. A gorgeous mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard offers impeccable playability and response, and the onboard CT4B II preamp delivers rich, natural amplified acoustic tone. The EF360SC TT is everything you would expect and more from a company that has been on the cutting edge of acoustic instrument design for decades.
Vintage tone and complex sound
The solid spruce top on the EF360SC TT has been specially treated with Takamine’s Thermal Top technology. This special process slowly dries the spruce through heat exposure that removes moisture and other impurities from the wood. The result is a beautifully worn, aged tone that normally is found only in much older vintage guitars — deep, rich, and complex. In combination with the rosewood back and sides, this pairing touches on all three ranges with an even midrange, a sparkly high end, and satisfying foundation of low end — great for any genre of music and incredibly satisfying to your ears and those of your audience.
A neck designed for play
The mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard offers players of all genres an incredible playing experience. The fingerboard is smooth and comfortable and the neck is finished in a natural gloss that lets your hand move up and down effortlessly. The cutaway on the EF360SC TT gives you wonderful access to the upper frets for lead playing as well as forming interesting chord voicings high up the neck. Both fingerstyling and aggressive strumming will find a home on this impeccable neck.
Great amplified tone
The onboard CT4B II preamp is a favorite among guitarists. The CT4B II features a 3-band EQ tone control, volume control, and a built-in chromatic tuner that can be silenced while tuning onstage. The EQ lets you control all three ranges with a slider on each that raises or lowers the response by +/-5dB. And an overall volume control lets you fine-tune your stage volume.
